How to cancel my membership of KYODAI Remittance?

We recommend you keeping your membership for any occasion of need to send again in the future.

But if you are sure to cancel it, you can do it as the following steps:

  •  If you are using KYODAI Remittance by the App or Web account:

1.          Log in to your account(KYODAI App/Web page)

2.          Find the menu tab

3.          Find the “Cancel my account”

4.          Check the conditions and follow the indications to cancel

5.          Once you receive the Confirmation of Cancellation, your membership is effectively canceled

  • If you are not using the KYODAI App or Web account:

1.          Read the “Note before canceling your account!” below

2.          Send an email from your registered email address to KYODAI email saying “ I want to cancel my membership in KYODAI Remittance”

3.          Include the reasons to clarify/ensure us that you are sure to cancel

4.          Once KYODAI Remittance replies to you the Confirmation of Cancellation, your membership is effectively canceled

  • If you have never registered your email address to KYODAI Remittance, we can accept it at our counters

1.          Fill the indicated form at our counters

2.          Once KYODAI Remittance staff confirms your cancellation, your membership is effectively canceled

 

Note before canceling your account!

  • You will no longer be able to access your own account, KYODAI App, etc.
  • You will no longer be able to send/receive money with KYODAI Remittance.
  • The remaining balance of KYODAI Stars and Balance will also be deleted, so if you have any remaining balance in Balance, please be sure to request a withdrawal first.
  • All registered information (name, contact information, transaction records) will be deleted from your account.
  • Please note that in order to comply with laws and regulations such as the Act on Prevention of Transfer of Criminal Proceeds, customer and transaction information must be stored in our company for a certain period of time even after cancellation.
